1. Entrance and exhibit room

The painter Mauro Maulini has dedicated a piece of artwork called “Paesaggio del tornitore” (“Lathe turner’s landscape”) to the museum. It consists of a panel of wood into which corkscrews, mortars, knobs, spigots for wine tasting, and various other tools from the wood turning workshops in Pettenasco are inserted.

At the entrance we find a spacious room that is home to an antique lathe. Its walls are covered in framed photographs and old documents that describe the history of the wood turning workshops in Pettenasco. There are also posters of old catalogs advertising the fashionable products of the early 900s.
