8. Garden, wooden waterwheel, and the Roggia Molinara
The Roggia Molinara is a very old manmade canal that separates off from the Torrente Pescone at the mouth of the Val Fatta. Once the water has flowed to the Wood Museum, it jumps up and, as it falls, powers the outdoor waterwheel, which visitors can see before the museum entrance.
During the summer season, the outdoor garden hosts a variety of events: aperitifs, concerts, lectures, etc.
